Seeking a driven individual looking to climb the ranks and grow with this exciting company Fresh Fitness Food is a business on a mission to become the world’s premier science-based nutrition company, educating the world about their health and nutrition, as well as providing them with the fuel and convenience they need to maintain a high-performing lifestyle. We provide a macro-specific bespoke meal delivery service, delivered fresh (not frozen) daily within London. We tailor every aspect of the food to match our client’s goals and lifestyle. Meals are delivered directly to our clients’ houses daily (between midnight and 6 am) to cut-out the middlemen & wastage (supermarkets) in our branded cooler bags. We have exciting plans for 2020 and beyond. We just launched our sustainable packaging solution to all our customers. By switching all our food packaging to biodegradable alternatives we have been able to reduce our use of plastics by 90%. We have also launched nationwide delivery, with plans to go international in the not-too-distant future. The role: You will operate at our new HQ in Parson’s Green, London. You will manage a remote team of contract drivers from your control centre. Using tracking and route mapping systems, you will manage the daily logistics and allocate the dynamic workload as efficiently and evenly as possible within the M25. You will be problem solving from day one. With your hands deep into everything from. You will be confident enough to deliver on-the-job training, while also having the thoroughness and numeracy skills to dive into our operational data and hunt out ways to increase efficiency and quality.   Role:   Manage the local fleet and liaise with operations team to ensure business growth, operational excellence and business compliance Monitor the overall health of fleet and operational activities Use real-time data and trend analysis to control and optimise the fleet Working closely with the COO, Operations team and Sales team to execute on new business opportunities (e.g. events, new production facilities, new product launches, etc) Maintaining and building strong relationships with fleet drivers Data-driven decision making with an excellent understanding of start-ups challenges People management; leading on creating an awesome culture, weekly team huddles, coaching and developing every operational member of staff to their full potential Day to day troubleshooting, firefighting and dealing with escalations Undertake complaint investigations and report findings; respond to clients as appropriate Ideal candidate: You are a confident communicator and thrive in a team environment, you know how to handle difficult situations and character types to get the very best out of everyone You are a resilient self-starter with a real passion for the art of great tasting food and harmonious systems You are an experienced operator, holding in-depth knowledge of logistics coupled with an understanding of the need for quality management. You get a kick out of maintaining slick operational systems, constantly interpreting, recording and acting upon performance indicator data Your Excel or Google Sheets skills are otherworldly; you have a rigorous analytical mindset You know how to work to incredibly tight deadlines, and apply sharp attention to process, detail and quality. Qualifications: Direct experience as supervisor or manager of a logistics team 4 years of professional experience in Operations; proven direct management experience
