Contract: Full time, Permanent Salary: 21,500 - 24,000 Start Date: As soon as possible/flexible THE COMPANY Hawk-Eye Innovations develops, markets, and delivers the most sophisticated officiating tools in sport. Our technology spans a range of applications, including ball and player tracking, video replay systems, and broadcast enhancements. THE TEAM This is an exciting opportunity to work with highly-skilled engineers in a fast-paced technology-based environment. Reporting into the Hardware Management Team, you will support and assist the operational business to grow and deliver its services around the world. THE JOB * Perform engineering tasks as assigned by the Hardware Management Team * Perform Procurement and Stock Control functions as assigned by the Hardware Management Team * Champion sub-tasks of larger projects under the guidance of the Hardware Management Team * Provide hardware-related support to the Operational Teams and Remote Support under the guidance of the Support and Maintenance Assistant Manager * Provide analytical information pertaining to hardware faults, investigation and alternative solutions * Responsible for general housekeeping of the Production Floor and other utilised areas * Responsible for the reporting and logging of time spent against projects * A core part of the QA/QC process of equipment builds * Provide hardware-related support to the Operational Teams * Provide hardware-related assistance to Remote Support * Coordination with Logistics Team regarding logistical queries Requirements WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU * The role requires an eagerness to learn new skills and gain new knowledge to cover the continuously evolving hardware technologies used by all departments * Must possess good communication and organisational skills * Must demonstrate the ability to multitask, think analytically and problem solve * Must demonstrate a diligent & organised approach to resolving technical issues and supplying clear solutions, including replacement equipment, within the timescales available * Must take responsibility for their own work, standards and training program * Must be competent in the use of all tooling and take responsibility for the H&S of themselves and those around them * Perform any reasonable requests made by your line manager on an ad hoc basis * Must be flexible in order to facilitate up to 7 days on-site per year to ensure that the Operational * Team adhere to hardware processes and procedures and suggest improvements where possible. * This may include operational support under rare, business-critical circumstances Benefits WHAT YOU'LL GET FROM US In addition to being a part of a great team, working in a fun and creative environment and learning from the best technical minds in the sports industry, we offer: * Competitive salary, bonus scheme and stakeholder pension * Access to the latest tools and technologies * Stocked kitchen space & game lounge * Private Sony Cinema and Sony Pictures movie discounts * Sony Staff discounts on various electronics products
