Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + Experience with data analysis and visualization (e.g. SQL, Tableau), and CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce). + Experience working in the telecommunications and/or consumer technology industry. Preferred qualifications: + Ability to help define and implement tools and processes that allow hardware businesses to scale. + Effective leadership, project management, communication and teamwork skills. The Hardware Sales Operations team is responsible for the business planning and sales forecasting process throughout a hardware product's lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life. We work with a variety of stakeholders from sales to supply chain to marketing, to launch new products with our third-party partners as well as with the Google Store. Google's Hardware Partnerships team is responsible for managing partnerships with Carriers and Retailers worldwide, delivering the best of Google Manufactured Hardware to the market. Our Strategy and Operations organization supports the Partnerships team by providing the scaled support needed to enable our partner-facing team to flourish. Operational excellence will be crucial to our success. As a Hardware Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring flawless execution in both customer setup and promotional activities with our partners. Working closely with partner-facing colleagues you will help setup new customers, enter product SKUs, deliver promotions end-to-end - from conception to contracting and financing to assessing results and ROI. You will provide consultative support to the Strategy and Operations team on how we can execute faster, and more efficiently. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology. + Setup new customers in our systems, including SKU and pricing setup, to enable all customers to make timely purchase orders. + Manage the operational life-cycle for retail incentive promotions. + Understand business requirements and drive the implementation of new tools and processes and execute improvements to existing sales processes. + Ensure compliant execution of all retail promotions including contracting, financing, data gathering and supplier funding. + Form relationships with partner managers to understand upcoming promotional calendars, and cross-functional partners to deliver well managed campaigns.
