Location Wakefield Salary 35,481 - 38,619 per annum Role Profile Attachment Digital Supply Chain Hardware Asset Manager Role Profile.pdf - 150KB Job Advert THE FOLLOWING VACANCY HAS BEEN ADVERTISED EXTERNALLY Digital Supply Chain Hardware Asset Manager Digital Policing Directorate - IT Digital Innovation Wakefield Permanent Post 1 full time post (37 hours per week) West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint a Digital Supply Chain Hardware Asset Manager to join the Digital Supply Chain Team within the Digital Policing Directorate based in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to proactively manage the lifecycle of all West Yorkshire Police digital hardware assets, including all end user devices and servers, network links, sim cards etc. You will ensure West Yorkshire Police are optimising the use of our existing assets and lead on the future refresh strategy to achieve best value for our organisation. The successful candidate will lead on asset management policies and procedures to ensure accurate asset recording and tracking through the whole asset lifecycle. With your knowledge of assets, you will take a lead role in engaging both internal stakeholders to assess current and future needs and externally with suppliers to understand their product roadmaps. To be successful for this role, you will have experience of physical asset life cycling and establishing hardware processes within a complex IT environment, have a degree level qualification in business, IT systems or equivalent experience and demonstrate a commitment for continued professional development with a technology setting. You must hold a full current UK/European driving licence and have the ability to travel for business purposes. The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. This post is suitable for job share.
