An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Band 6 Transplant Sister/Charge Nurses in the Transplant Team at Barts Health NHS Trust in the specialist medicine division of renal and diabetes. Bart's Health is home to one of the UK's largest renal & haemodialysis unit, offering nurses the unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of clinical specialties and to advance their professional development. Our world class services include Medical, Surgical, Critical Care, Transplantation, Community Dialysis, Acute Dialysis, Research, Palliative Care, Renal Assessment, Living Donation, Acute Kidney Injury and Chronic Kidney Disease, based at our brand new hospital building near the City of London. You should possess excellent communication skills and be committed to delivering safe and compassionate care. Have the renal & mentorship course Be able to work autonomously and within a team Have excellent communication skills Be flexible and reliable Working closely with the MDT the post holder is responsible for the delivery of a consistently high standard of care to meet patient needs and unit objectives whilst working closely with the Consultant and Clinical Nurse Specialists. The post holder will demonstrate clinical knowledge within transplant in the assessment, planning, and delivery of care using a holistic approach.
