CLINICAL LEAD " URGENT CARE SERVICES FIFE (UCSF) SALARIED GP Applications are invited for the above post for the Urgent Care services - Fife. The service provides Out of Hours urgent care to a patient population of 375,000 (approx) in Fife and Kinross. The postholder will provide senior clinical leadership, professional advice and in collaboration with other members of the UCSF operational team, lead the transformation of urgent care services for Fife in line with the national Transforming Urgent care programme. The postholder will provide highly effective clinical leadership to support medical staff working within the service and will work in partnership with other members of the team at a strategic and operational level to ensure the delivery of high standards of safe, effective and person centred care within a robust framework of clinical and staff governance. A priority for this role is to support effective engagement of the UCSF workforce, our partners and service users in developing services. This will require excellent interpersonal skills and being proactive in working collaboratively with colleagues across health, social care and the voluntary sector to facilitate partnership working and deliver quality standards and strategic priorities. Offering a strong knowledge base, understanding of current policy and evidence relating to out of hours and urgent care. They will work closely with the Clinical Directors, Clinical Services Manager, Clinical Lead for Professional Development, Lead Nurse, Primary Care Manager and other members of the UCSF strategic and operational team to develop sustainable services. As a positive role model you will promote professional standards for all clinicians in the service and facilitate a learning culture to support service excellence. The postholder will evidence on-going professional and personal development and post graduate study with a commitment to support the development of others including GP performance appraisal.
