Job Description

Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (GADRS) is an integrated health and social care partner within Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership (Glasgow HSCP). Strategically supported by the Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP), it delivers treatment services to those individuals with problematic alcohol and drug misuse issues across Glasgow City. You will provide the Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (GADRS) with expert Clinical Governance support, guidance and education necessary to enable them to carry out Clinical Governance activities in order to address nationally agreed priorities and local service requirements. You will also service audits and reporting on drug and alcohol related deaths are key care governance and ADP activity. You will also be directly responsible for line management and professional supervision of the Research and Care Governance Assistant. It is essential you are educated to Degree standard or have equivalent experience and knowledge. You should also have an extensive knowledge of and commitment to the principles of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness and clinical audit and an ability to assert the goals of clinical governance at every level.
