Job Description

Role The Reporting Manager is mainly responsible for the AfP consolidation, Core AfP, Core Cost & Budget reporting (budget / cost / forecast / risk) and Fee Business Unit Controlling (budget / cost / forecast / risk). Will be self-motivated, disciplined and commercially astute with the ability to identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks, taking ownership and responsibility. Shall have oversight of the implementation and ongoing assurance that the project's governance and any contract specific requirements are adhered to. Key Responsibilities Monthly reporting and analysis of cost incl. budget setting and forecasting for Core (Services) Identifying reporting risks and opportunities for Core Consolidation of Application for Payment (AfP) and preparation of AfP for Core Fee Business Unit Controlling (budget / cost / forecast) incl. Contract Margin / Management of business risks Adherence to Project Controls and reporting requirements managing large datasets Supporting Core wide functions within the project, including HR Budget validation for additional headcounts (Authority to Recruit) for Core Facilitating decision-making by ensuring the provision performance progress updates Resolving contractual and commercial problems Expanding or improving commercial procedures, processes and policies Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project Required qualifications, skills, behaviours and attributes: * Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement * Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen * Extensive experience of drafting effective contractual correspondence and the facilitation of collaborative solutions * Demonstrable legal, contractual and construction knowledge and experience * Experience in implementing and delivering strategic objectives and associated change programmes * A creative, strategic and innovative approach to problem-solving * Familiarity working in a time-pressurised environment where competing deadlines and demands must be self-managed and prioritised * Clear communication skills, able to communicate with accuracy and clarity in informal conversations, reports and presentations * The ability to determine the scope of a requirement, and draw on wider knowledge and understanding to provide a solution * Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office
