The Regulatory Reporting Team is a new team being created within Operations and is a centralised, dedicated team that will be responsible for producing and overseeing the following regulatory reports: MiFID II transaction and post trade reporting, EMIR and SFTR, as well as any new transaction based regulatory reporting as and when required in the future. The role reports in to the Trade and Transaction Regulatory Reporting Manager, and will support a number of management and oversight committees. Key Accountabilities * Responsible for the production, delivery and ongoing oversight of the following regulatory reporting activities - Transaction Reporting, Trade Reporting, EMIR and SFTR * Carry out remediation work as required were issues are identified across processes and reports * Review the existing Regulatory Reporting processes and be responsible for implementing BAU reporting processes and keeping pace with changes in the regulatory reporting change arena. * Cross-training will be a key priority with the aim of building subject matter expertise across the team in a variety of regulatory obligations and to identify areas of improvement or synergy , scale and efficiencies * Support the operational effectiveness of the firm's regulatory systems and controls, with respect to the activities outlined above * Perform oversight of the delegated reporting model liaising with Brokers, Exchanges and Trade Repositories. * Maintenance of policies and procedures to comply with reporting obligations * Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections in relation to the firms reporting obligations * Manage and resolve reporting related risks, issues and breaches * Support the design, implementation and execution of ongoing management reporting across the regulatory reporting framework * Support operational change management activities relevant to the regulatory reporting framework * Support the analysis and assessment of future regulatory changes around trade and transaction reporting and how these impact the firm and solution operating Skills and Experience * Broad understanding of front to back trade flows within the business * Communication skills and effective stakeholder management. * Outstanding analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative * Self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, with excellent attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to consistently deliver work of a high standard, to tight timelines with a proven track record Essential Criteria * Experience of working with a regulatory driven agenda and assessing regulatory and business change * Experience of one or more of the following regulatory regimes: MiFID II transaction and post trade reporting, EMIR and SFTR * Experience within Finance industry, plus demonstrable in-depth experience in regulatory reporting Desirable Criteria * Asset Management experience What we offer * We've always been proud to reward employees by offering a number of benefits * such as Pensions and Protection, Performance and role-related benefits, Lifestyle and Wellbeing * Our culture comes from within, or to put it another way, it comes from our people.
