Role Purpose: be responsible for the digital strategy for Omdia marketing to deliver awareness, engagement and revenue growth across the target audience. The role will be key in setting best practice across Omdia digital marketing execution to ensure the platforms and spend is optimised. Main Areas of Responsibility & Accountability Leadership of the digital strategy and execution, managing the Automation Manager, Digital Delivery Manager, including development and performance, and working closely with the Customer, Geography and Social Media team Prioritization of resources, in line with business and overall marketing priorities, and management of allocation, tracking, impact and review process * Creation of digital strategy and objectives to deliver against awareness, engagement, audience growth, customer acquisition and retention objectives. * Optimisation of existing tools and platforms to support digital strategy and objectives, and overall marketing objectives. * Strategic identification of new tools and platforms in line with objectives. · Optimisation of digital channel performance to improve performance. * Focus on organic strategy and optimization, enhance with paid strategy across key marketing activities * Conversion funnel optimisation working closely with the customer marketing team to create customer centric user-journeys * Optimisation of data insight, collection and behavioural data across all platforms, ensuring integration to key systems * Use data to deliver actionable insights that are implemented and continually optimised * Working with Informa's wider digital teams to optimise email performance and creating automated and personalised journeys through email and web. * Understand the competitive landscape and target audiences and leverage this industry and competitor analysis data and tools to inform activity and assessing the potential of new opportunities. * Detailed customer and audience understanding to optimise digital spend and strategy and identify and test new ideas or channels to market. * Contribute to the Informa Tech digital mar tech strategy and tech stack selection. * Standardising tracking across all channels * Creation of reqgular channel performance report for Omdia across all activity with analysis, commentary and channel recommendations and working with teams to implement. * Reporting on ROI of all activity including digital spend * Creation of benchmarking KPIs for digital performance * Conduct formal digital training sessions/workshops tailored to the Marketing teams learning needs around specific topics and creation of calendar for year.
