Sales Development Representative This is a brilliant opportunity to join our team in London. As an SDR for Adyen, you will have the opportunity to accelerate your career by being exposed to multiple business units in a globally recognized fintech organization. You'll be working with sales managers and marketing to create new business opportunities and deliver key insights on the payments sector to the business. This role is extremely diverse requiring strong interpersonal skills, project management ability and a great sense of humor. What you'll do * Strategically "cold" call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources * Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach * Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application * Build a strong personal brand and network by joining key networking groups, regular brand development on LinkedIn and attending regular industry events * You will act as the subject matter expert on the payments sector and Adyen product offerings. * Work closely with other commercial teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools. Who you are * Commercial team player who possesses a desire and ability to work in an innovative, high-growth sales environment * Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive, energetic phone presence * Gets to grips with new technology quickly * 1-2 yrs of basic experience in prospecting is key * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * BA/BS degree or relevant experience Who we are Adyen is the payments platform of choice for many of the world's leading companies, providing a modern end-to-end infrastructure connecting directly to Visa, Mastercard, and consumers' globally preferred payment methods.
