ABOUT THE CLIENT RELATIONS TEAM Our employees across the business combine their desire to work in a fast-paced, commercial and entrepreneurial organisation with making a positive impact in the work we do. The Client Relations team is at the forefront of this. The team is split between looking after the needs of our existing clients as well as developing relationships with new prospects, with this role focused primarily on business development. We work with a diverse range of leading asset managers and asset owners in developing and implementing tailored responsible investment strategies. The team operates in a lively, collaborative and supportive environment, where each day is different. POSITION PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of Sustainalytics' growth story, focusing on the UK and European markets. We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, good writing skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across all areas of Sustainalytics and to work with the Client Relations team globally to grow our market presence. The role has a strong emphasis on coordination and organisation, pro-activeness and communication, which will be key to your success and that of the team. Key responsibilities include: + Manage incoming sales enquiries from internal and external channels, conducting initial research and triage. + Preparing client meeting materials and coordinating meeting follow-ups. + Developing deep knowledge of products and services to support sales conversations. + Support clients through trials including with demos, research and data questions. + Coordinating with internal data and client teams to set up trial and services. + Conducting market research and providing support for outreach. + Developing your own ESG and Sustainable Finance industry knowledge. + Coordinating and writing proposals and RfP responses. + Coordinating contracting processes, liaising internally and externally. + Leading on data management in the customer management software including maintaining accurate records, leveraging data to provide insightful reporting and analysis. + Assisting with organisation of sales related events and participating in conferences. We work on a daily basis with colleagues in our other European and offices as well as in North America and Asia-Pacific, so the desire to work very closely with a diverse team from many different cultures is critical to working at Sustainalytics. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate needs to be an ambitious team player who can both succeed individually, as well as reaching goals through close collaboration with other team members. The role is suited to those with a couple of years work experience in a relevant field however recent graduates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Required: + Demonstrated passion for sustainability and an alignment with Sustainalytics' mission, vision and values ( + Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills. + Commercial support mindset and good time management skills. + Experience and an aptitude in leading projects from start to finish with little oversight is essential. + Ability to take the initiative and think creatively and proactively. + Ability to learn how to use a CRM, produce reports from it and learn and use other business software. + An understanding of financial services and responsible investment industry. + Financial services, responsible investment or sustainability-related work experience is desirable. + Degree in related discipline (business, finance, environment and/or social sciences). + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
