Job Description
The AWS Security Assurance team is looking for a candidate with customer facing experience to be part of a customer centric team, focused on enabling AWS customers to move and operate sensitive and heavily regulated workloads into the cloud. The successful candidate will be exceptional at personally engaging with diverse audiences with varying technical backgrounds to define and understand specific security, regulatory and compliance requirements and developing new ways to meet customers legal or contractual requirements in a scalable way. You will be proactive at removing roadblocks, paving the way for innovation and can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will have visibility with senior leadership and must be an effective communicator able to relay complex or technical and contractual information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. You will be expected to exercise a high degree of judgement in managing contractual risk whilst making appropriate trade-offs to drive adoption. As a thought leader, you will also be expected to help develop and drive a security and compliance program which is responsive and relevant to business and customer requirements. You will need to prioritize well, be able to work with other stakeholders to deep dive on security and compliance requirements across different jurisdictions, communicate clearly and have a consistent track record of delivery. You will be a positive influencer across teams, be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives. You are able to handle business escalations with a data-driven approach.
