Online applicants are welcome to apply for the post Senior Fellow in Cardiology on a full time basis up to 2 years. ABOUT THE TEAM The post will require you to work in team of medical staff on a full shift rota covering activity in service and training for cardiology. Ideally suited to a candidate aiming to apply for an NTN, seek CESR accreditation or looking for experience in cardiology prior to another career path. This is a post to work within our existing team of cardiology middle grades including both SpRs and senior fellows. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will support the inpatient and outpatient activity of this busy secondary and tertiary centre and receive training in cardiology speciality activity. Training will be given in echocardiography, diagnostic angiography and pacing, inpatient and outpatient care of cardiology patients. Post holders will expect to work a full shift rota in GiM or possible cardiology on call. The posts are not intended to provide advanced sub speciality training in coronary intervention, EP ablation, WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR As such successful candidates would be expected to have at least 2 years post registration experience in general internal medicine (MRCP equivalent) and an interest in cardiology.
