Do you want to make a difference to patients, staff and the organisation through the provision of analytics and insight? Do you want to join a nationally and internationally recognised Informatics team, one of the NHS's Global Digital Exemplars? This is a key role in the implementation of our new business intelligence strategy. You will join the organisation as we procure and implement a new set of BI tools and associated data warehouse, joining a team of specialists in one of the largest acute NHS Trusts in the country. You will be responsible for the production, assurance, development and promotion of analytical services for cancer to internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with a wide range of people, areas and disciplines, communication and knowledge of cancer data will be key. This role will suit an experienced information professional who is passionate about servicing and developing innovative information and analytics that support high quality patient care and clinical services. You will: * Be committed to upholding our values (patients first, working together and always improving) * Manage the prioritisation, planning and delivery of existing and future analyses within your space * Provide expert advice and guidance to the Trust on cancer data and foster understanding of the wide range of business intelligence areas WHAT YOU'LL DO You will: * Lead on cancer data analytics * Be responsible for the production, assurance, development and promotion of analytical services to internal and external stakeholders * Delivering analytical projects by managing links with BI Development colleagues and stakeholders on project implementation, development programmes and future streams of work * Communicate, present and publish findings and reports to appropriate individuals and forums both internally and externally WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You will need to have: * Knowledge of NHS acute sector patient based data and operational reporting requirements * Demonstrable extensive experience of information analysis and reporting * Expertise and experience in dealing with identifiable data and commercially sensitive data. * Experience of leading service delivery to meet set timescales and deadlines WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU As one of the largest acute teaching Trust's in England, we can offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.
