Job Description
Countingup is on a mission to make running a small business simple. Our vision is that every small business has its accounting and banking in one place. This will uniquely enable them to manage both quickly, and easily, in real-time and at a low cost. We're a venture-backed challenger bank and an early stage startup. Our experienced CEO was formerly the founder and CEO of Clearbooks and we're a diverse team of 22 individuals with ambitious plans for growth. So what's the role? There are 5.5m sole traders and ltd companies in the UK. 20,000 of them have Countingup accounts. That means there are still 5.48m that do not and are still using a mixture of personal accounts, spreadsheets, accounting software, business banks and paper to manage their finances and accounting. Your goal is to convince as many of those SMEs to use Countingup to simplify their business banking and accounting, as soon as possible. We're a small team so the role would be a varied one but day to day you would: * Create and implement a performance marketing strategy for key channels * Build and optimize paid advertising campaigns on multiple platforms * Improve our marketing infrastructure (review current tooling, suggest improvements) * Analyse data, reports and trends to establish what's working, what's not and what we should do about it * Write clear and concise copy that wants to be read * Work closely with our Product, Design and Management team to create the right content (ads, video, landing pages) to get our story across This could work if you: * Like working independently to tackle problems and establish a solution * Work well in small teams * Always trying to improve how you work and the results * Have good data and numerical skills * Have strong communication skills both written and verbal * Are organised and able to prioritise * Have proven an ability to complete a project (eg. a degree or self-driven work) and have at least 1 year of work experience in a professional environment * Want to learn, try new things and develop (this one is the make or break!)
