To achieve this, we are putting increasing focus on how we reach our customers and make decision based on data and factual insight. As Sales Manager - Independents, the successful candidate will: * Manage our Independents channel and deliver the KPIs. The channel consists of sole traders, kiosks, Roundsmen to smaller independent chains stocking The Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday, two of The UK's most popular and biggest selling newspapers * Develop a wide range of contacts and influence within your channel from head of News at NFRN to the biggest independent retailers in the industry * Segment the channel and create a trade plan and tactics to increase profitable sales based on the shopper mission within these segments e.g. casual sales, destination sales, HND, etc... * Ensure our brand's continued presence in these most relevant retail channels * Identify display opportunities from improved fixture to location in store to the number of facings to ensure the best presence of DM and TMoS. Working with the industry where viable * Use of circulation data, shopper data and insight to ensure promotional initiatives are relevant for our customers and retailers and therefore deliver profitable incremental sales * Working with the Subscriptions Manager, develop and execute a Home News Delivery scheme that is ...
