To enable the Finance Organisation to enhance its support to the business, the role of International Tax Manager has been created. Your key objectives will be to proactively manage all aspects of our UK and international direct and indirect tax compliance; maintain an overview of group wide tax charges and identify and remediate inefficiencies; provide tax planning advice for new projects and strategic expansion into new international markets. The role will report directly to the Head of Finance and work closely with our Region Finance Managers and Group Controller. Key Responsibilities - Ensuring the global tax compliance (direct and indirect) for Insights Learning and Development with an emphasis on UK and US tax compliance - Advising compliance on cross-border tax matters including compliance with transfer pricing requirements - Apply for available tax incentives to encourage inward investment and innovation e.g. HMRC's RDEC scheme - Oversight of all tax returns and completion of draft Group and UK corporate tax returns - Advising the business on strategic tax risk issues including international expansion, corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions - Liaising with external providers on international tax matters - Working with tax authorities on tax audits - Business partnering with internal stakeholders globally - Proactive seeking of tax planning opportunities - Forecasting of local and consolidated tax charges for the group - Assistance with compliance of employment taxes How you'll show up - A positive collaborator with cross-functional teams and external partners - A strategic thinker who can both design and implement tax strategy - An excellent long-term planner with great communication skills - You'll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness and capability to work on strategy and day to day tax analysis and submissions. - You'll be self-motived, can organise own workload and complete multiple tasks on-time in a dynamic changing environment. - Inspired and excited by self-development. - A driven and positive advocate for change. Experience and Skills - CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification - Minimum 4 years' tax pqe either in an accounting firm or in-house - In-depth experience of managing corporate tax affairs across a number of territories including knowledge of Direct and Indirect Tax regulation - Experience working with R&D Tax Credits and Patent Box - Experience of managing multinational transfer pricing arrangements - Knowledge of UK employment tax requirements - Experience of working in a Professional Services and / or Digital business is preferable - Exposure to Corporation Tax software - Review of tax provisions Before applying for a role at Insights, please review our Recruitment Privacy Policy
