You will haveresponsibility in assisting with the implementation of the FCC Transformation Programme workstreams, as well as provide support to the wider FCC function where necessary. You will also provide financial crime advisory expertise to business units across M&G plc. You will undertake the drafting and implementation of FCC standards, reviews and updates of policies and procedures, as well as roll-out of the Enterprise Wise Risk Assessment. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting daily horizon scanning of legislative, regulatory, trade bodies & EU and government websites, communications and presentations and industry press/media to ensure that Financial Crime Compliance and its stakeholders have clear sight of any issues that may impact on its business, providing a detailed, but concise and timely precis of the impact and exposure of relevant information. Stakeholder engagement, reporting writing and the ability to balance commercial with compliance considerations are key attributes required for this role. Work Level Accountabilities: Expert: * For technical specialists, accountable for delivering expert advice or service, using specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise * Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost and risk * Manages conflicts that may impact delivery * Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture * Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output * Manages resources and risks using expert judgment, know-how and experience Key Responsibilities: Support the Head of Financial Crime Compliance in: * Drafting, reviewing and updating applicable FCC Policies, Standards and Procedures . * Implementing and embedding a Procedural framework for PGA related processes and procedures. * Drafting and Providing FCC related training to staff. * Providing advice and information to the business on FCC related matters. * Drafting and implementing a horizon scanning framework. * Support and implement the FCC Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment process, identifying inherent risk, control identification and effectiveness. * Support in developing and building out the Financial Crime Framework and Governance processes. * Drafting reports to senior management and committees. * Support any other tasks involved in the FCC Transformation Programme for the wider FCC function. Experience, Skills & Knowledge: * 7+ years of proven FCC experience covering AML &CTF, Fraud, ABC, Sanctions and Tax Evasion. * Deputy MLRO (or equivalent) background. * Retail and Wholesale Asset Management and/or insurance background desirable. * Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence senior management and key stakeholders. * Excellent stakeholder management skills. * Strong analytical, initiative and problem-solving capabilities. * Ability to identify and propose new ideas, considering potential efficiencies and streamlining capabilities. * Strong organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure with high attention to detail. * Sound presentation skills /proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint * Flexible, delivery focussed, and creative.
