Sales Engineer London, UK Snowplow has just raised its Series A with the mission to empower more companies across the globe to do transformative things with data, to help them better understand their customers and products, and develop a truly data-driven culture. To support us with our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales team based in London. If you are excited about working in a fast-paced environment, developing a deep understanding of how companies architect their data stack, and helping companies use data to drive business decisions then we would love to hear from you. And, as one of the first hires into this role, you will have the exciting and unique opportunity to help define how this function will develop and scale at Snowplow. What you'll be doing: - Understand business problems faced by prospects, and design data-driven solutions for them. Identify Snowplow use cases in key verticals such as retail, media, travel and mobile subscription apps. - Secure the technical win by helping prospects understand the Snowplow technology and approach, including how to best use the different capabilities of our platform. - Work with our Account Executives to design and deliver bespoke pitches and demos (often field-based) for different prospect stakeholders (such as Heads of Data, CTOs, data engineers, or product managers). - Assume responsibility for the success of POCs, working alongside our Data Consultants to prove out the Snowplow value proposition to prospects. This includes learning how to design tracking and write SQL to query Snowplow data in cloud data warehouses. - Support our Marketing team in building out solutions-oriented product marketing and sales collateral, covering diverse industries, use cases and departments. What you bring to the team: - A degree in an analytical field such as Economics, Engineering or similar. - Minimum of 2 years experience within consulting, technical sales or similar. - A high level of organisation and time management. - Clear and confident communication skills. - Technical skills: experience with SQL or JavaScript is beneficial but not required. - Willingness to travel in Europe and internationally (up to 25% of the time).
