Job Description

We are looking for the Agile Coach to work with development teams, stakeholders, and management to instil a culture of continuous improvement in performance and outcomes. You will provide coaching, facilitation, training, mentoring, impediment management, and leadership in support of collaboration, development consistency, and value delivery across one or more teams. Continuous improvement of the development process should be a focus, with the common goal across the teams to deliver outstanding software as fast as possible. You will be a servant leader and guardian of quality and performance. We are looking for you to be a champion for Agile ways of working across the business. Role and Responsibilities * Help teams new to Agile to become self-organising by teaching and facilitating ceremonies and other techniques that help them to improve and deliver on their commitments * Periodically review ceremony execution with established teams to help them continue to work well and improve * Support and coach POs in their role to ensure creation of well prioritised and shaped backlogs * Support and coach teams including POs to have a clear understanding of scope and plans * Facilitate removal of both internal and external impediments to progress and help teams to become self-sufficient * Combine working directly in teams, fulfilling the Scrum Master role until the team can take that on themselves, with working more widely across the business to champion Agile practices and establish broader adoption * Work with management to identify organisational issues that require addressing * Work with department leads, teams and other coaches to continuously review and improve ways of working across the wider organisation * Work with others across the organisation on definition and adoption of processes to ensure that all teams formed to deliver an outcome work together to solve business problems and achieve value outcomes * Ensure quality processes are in place, reviewed and followed * Help create and follow dependency management procedures * Help teams to create and maintain metrics that assist stakeholders in having a view of progress * Facilitate quarterly plan creation * Assist with forecast creation * Provide input into release coordination * OKR facilitation Benefits: Competitive Salary on offer Annual Bonus London City location with easy access to Cannon Street & London Bridge Pension Plan Private Healthcare Flexible working Holiday purchase programme Season Ticket Loan Free Set Top Box Staff Discount Scheme About us: YouView launched in summer 2012, brought BT Sport over IP in 2013, an upgrade to 4k and the launch of Netflix in 2014, partnered with Sony to offer the UI for its TVs in 2015 and brought the first UHD device to the UK.
