We are creating a center of expertise with the mandate of driving up the quality and value of software delivery and implementation across the enterprise. The COE will contain a small number of experts in Agile software engineering, test automation, technical training, development tooling and metrics management, along with development teams to support the creation of central API based services, and centralized security patching. The Development COE Agile and Metrics Lead will report to the Development COE Lead and will be responsible for leading the organization through the Agile journey by providing coaching, guidance, thought leadership, and defining standard metrics that enable IT and business leaders to engage and contribute to the Agile journey. Candidate must be an Agile expert, practitioner, hands-on experienced, have taken the Agile journey and effectively communicate with others. We expect the COE team to drive success across our development organizations through a combination of coaching, best practice development, metrics tracking and direct assistance. We will count on you to: Work with the COE Leads and contribute to building an enterprise-wide Agile COE as an Agile leader and a champion. Help build Agile processes, practices, tools and metrics for successful adoption of Agile by the development teams across MMC organization Define set of standardized metrics to measure the effectiveness at project, business unit or enterprise level. Guide, coach, provide feedback and advice to the teams and organization to follow Agile practices Support and coach the Product Owner on Agile practices Build training programs for various IT and business roles to take them through the Agile journey Prepare multiple approaches to training delivery, including "train the trainer", self-guided and traditional training models. Help create common Agile tools, dashboards, templates for IT and Business leaders to get insightful reports, measures and early identification of risks/issue. Experience in working with DevOps toolset for Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing Experience with electronic story boards and Wikis such as Jira / Trello / Confluence Designs optimal solutions and prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goals. Empower and support self-organization Promotes collaboration between many self-organizing, cross-functional development teams Facilitate methods for the team to seek higher productivity levels Gather feedback and continuously improve the quality and delivery What you need to have: A senior Agile and Metric leader with significant hands-on experience involving Agile software development transformation journey in a large organization. They must be able to engage with senior stakeholders, understand their challenges and influence through compelling outcomes. Must haves: Agile coach. Three years minimum experience. Minimum 8 -12 years' experience in information technology Strong skills in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment and transparency. Knowledge of Agile approaches - Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc. Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques - Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Pairing, Agile Games, etc. People management expertise. Will need to ensure the team continue to actively develop themselves.
