Job Description

Position Description : Evaluate is looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to take a critical role in managing a portfolio of strategic and operational technology projects. The Agile Delivery Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the business, internal/external teams and clients, acting as a key interface throughout the project life-cycle. They will take responsibility for eliciting, analysing and managing business cases, success factors, milestones etc and will be expected to challenge stakeholder thinking across the business and technology teams. Responsible for supporting the delivery of key technical and business capabilities as well as effectively anticipating, managing and communicating both timelines and risks to the wider business. Responsibilities: * Implement and manage effective Agile delivery processes. (Scrum / Kanban as appropriate) * Run standups and ceremonies with distributed teams; internal and external partners * Training, coaching and mentoring of technology teams & stakeholders * Measure and drive improvements in quality, speed of delivery and frequency of releases * Empower teams to be creative, self-organising and highly efficient * Foster a culture of openness, transparency and continuous improvement * Provide reporting and KPIs to the business on progress along with recommendations on process improvements, training and resourcing * Facilitate business planning & estimation of new features/projects * Support product owners in backlog grooming & prioritisation * Lead on agile and lean practices * Ensure strong delivery cadence focused on value goals * Responsible for a number of Agile teams * Hands on, ground-level, oversight * Support Scrum and PO teams * Ensuring everyone has everything they need to be productive * Managing expectations, reporting & alignment with PMO * Team / team of teams (1-5) Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: * Scrum Master certification level 1 (CSM / PSM I) * At least 5 years experience as Scrum Master supporting multiple software development teams (on & offshore) * Scrum and Kanban methodologies * Excellent communication and mentoring skills * Good track record with continuous improvement, removing impediments, empowering teams, managing stakeholders and providing transparency to the business * JIRA and Confluence Beneficial Skills & Experience: * Scrum Master certification level 2 (CSP / PSM II) * Certified Scrum and/or SAFe Practitioner * Other agile methodologies, such as XP * Knowledge of or experience with TDD, BDD, Pairing, Continuous Integration & Delivery * Experience running coding katas & hackathons * Working knowledge of the tech stack (AWS, C#, NodeJS, Azure DevOps) Personal Attributes : In addition to buying into Evaluates values as per below candidates should display the following attributes: * Good communicator, ability to engage with & bridge product & technology teams * Open, honest, friendly and approachable * Independent, sense of drive and ability to get things done * Innovative and problem-solving approach * Ability to grow and adapt as business does and achieve success through teamwork Values Statement Focus on the client Our clients success is our success.
