Financial Controller, London Your tasks: * Acting as the central point of contact for all financial controlling matters for the Investment Banking central business unit, including: financial reporting (including detailed cost controlling), planning, forecasting, analysis and regulatory reporting * Using profit centre invoicing and profit and loss accounts to create essential control elements of the house * Producing the annual financial statements; coordinating with the auditors in completing the annual audit process * Assuming independent project responsibility for the further development of control systems, including challenging and enhancing systems that are currently in place * Further Development of existing Business-Intelligence solutions for profit centre calculation (Qlikview, SQL) Your profile: * Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), having successfully completed studies with a focus on controlling or comparable training * Previous experience in the (cost) controlling environment of a bank or consulting company is beneficial * Experience in regulatory reporting or banking regulation is beneficial * Ideally experience in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (local German GAAP) and IFRS * Ability to structure complex issues appropriately to the addressee and great interest in working on diverse and ever-changing issues * Excellent interpersonal skills; confidence in explaining controlling issues to stakeholders of all levels of seniority * Proficiency with MS Office is beneficial, as is knowledge of SQL and BI tools (Qlikview) * Willingness to strengthen a foreign establishment for a limited period, if necessary * German language skills are beneficial, but not essential
