Job Description
Head of Compliance Glasgow Competitive + Bonus + Benefits Company Car Peter Vardy Ltd are looking to employ a Group Head of Compliance to monitor all aspects of compliance within the motor trade especially Financial Conduct Rules, GDPR , Consumer Rights and Fair Trading. The object of this role is to ensure the business meets it's legal obligations within the sector and to advise the Directors and Senior Managers on implementing and updating appropriate policies and procedures. What the role will involve * In depth knowledge of FCA Rules and permissions specifically Credit Broking, SM&CR and CONC. * Working knowledge of FCA Connect system. * In depth knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation and legal obligations. * In depth knowledge of Consumer Rights Act 2015. * Investigation of data breaches and data protection complaints. * Manage Subject Access Requests within statutory deadlines. * Investigation and monitoring of Regulated Complaints. * Ability to communicate with regulators including ICO FCA, FOS & Trading Standards. * Keep informed and aware of developments in compliance. * Advise Board and Senior Managers of legislation changes and implement process and policy changes as appropriate What we are looking for * Experience within a compliance or regulatory role is essential. * Experience of the Motor Trade would be beneficial. * The ability to manage projects to tight, legally defined deadlines * Strong management and leadership skills, with proven ability to prioritise and delegate. * Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to build relationships at all levels * Intuitive problem-solving skills * Demonstrable ability to prioritise demanding and conflicting workloads and to adapt to frequent change Key benefits- The Peter Vardy difference * Industry leading compensation package- you are in control of your own earnings * Discounts on new and used cars * Partner shares * Contributory pension scheme * 32 days holiday * Award winning In-house and manufacturer training * Great career development opportunities If you would love to be part of our Peter Vardy family, please APPLY now with an up to date copy of your CV.
