Based in Euston, This commercially focused Performance Reporting Analyst role will provide insight to drive decision making across the business. Sitting in the Project Controls Department and working to analyse and understand trends to help ensure KPIs are tracked and achieved, this excellent opportunity will involve utilising your diverse experience with a range of reporting tools to provide meaningful insights to drive strategy and overall success across the board. As Performance Reporting Analyst, this visible role will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a range of different departments including: commercial, planning, procurement, engineering, health & safety, document control, etc. You'll: * Develop and run reports for various data sets and management information (MI) in Power BI * Data preparation, transformation, cleansing and analysis * Deliver suites of dashboards, analysis and findings for the project leadership team in Power BI * Analyse all available information to identify root cause issues, trends and to develop and prioritise improvement plans. * Ensure data and performance processes and solutions are consistent with the wider Skanska IT data and reporting procedures. * Working with Performance Manager to define BI strategy and required output * Reporting on KPIs to senior stakeholders * Providing insight on business processes and facilitating commentary and actions capture * Organising timely data flow from department leads/data owners to the Project Controls Department We're looking for: * Extensive experience using Power BI (DAX, M) * Highly versatile with Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot and Power Query) * Experience in O365 applications such as Power Apps, Power Automate - advantageous * Understanding of statistical methods such as regression, classification, simulation, optimisation - advantageous * Problem solving/analysis: understanding of complex issues and problems and ability to form practical/pragmatic solutions. * Team working: used to working in teams, displaying a flexible and constructive attitude * Self-motivation: possessing a natural ability to take initiative and progress projects with minimal support. * Communication: providing documents that are clear, precise and understandable and communicating clearly with business people, IT managers, analysts and developers. * Time management / planning: managing personal workload effectively, setting realistic and achievable targets and delivering to those targets.
