Aa a Policy Director at Onfido you will: * Clearly comprehend how regulators/policymakers impact the digital identity space * Sharply identify, together with Onfido Chief Strategy Officer and other senior leaders, how Onfido can influence at best regulators / policymakers * Patiently engage with regulators/policymakers at all events promoted by regulators (consultations, sandboxes, forums, roundtables etc.) and also at a personal level * Pragmatically educate regulators/policymakers on market and technical trends, providing them with notions and insightsDecisively influence new policies being drafted and enacted by regulators/policymakers * Structure and detail Onfido knowledge center on regulations/policies, and constantly educate Onfido growth team on policies and related topics * Support, in close collaboration with the Onfido growth team, Onfido's prospects, clients and partners when having to engage with regulators * Please note: The geographical perimeter is UK, EU and APAC We're looking for a Policy Director who has a combination of: * At least 5 years experience in a similar role, in both corporate and startups/scaleups * At least 5 years experience in tech, financial services, telecom industries * Experience in engaging and lobbying the EU and other EU regulators/policymakers * Ability to understand both the big picture and the details that make a difference * Pragmatic, agile and flexible mindset; ability to selectively focus on what's relevant * Sharp written and oral communication skills; ability to be synthetic / to the point * Excellent interpersonal skills, a true team member * Ability to work in other languages (especially French and German) a big plus Onfido Culture Onfidoer's all share a set of core values which include: > Succeed Together > Take Pride > Create Customer Buzz > Learn Things, Share them > Find a Better Way Along with our multi-national team in our London HQ we have offices in EMEA, America and APAC, making Onfido an exciting and culturally enriching place to work.
