Title: Senior Policy & Advocacy Officer - Vaccines Number of Positions: 1 Job Summary: Vaccines are currently in the spotlight as the world responds to the global COVID-19 pandemic. This role within the Vaccines Programme at Wellcome will contribute to work that Wellcome is developing to aid a potential COVID-19 vaccine and to maintaining immunisation globally against other infectious diseases such as measles. AutoReqId: 843BR Additional info: We are looking for a talented individual to join the Vaccines policy team as a Senior Policy & Advocacy Officer. We are multidisciplinary team within the Wellcome Trust with a long-term goal of supporting the development of new and improved vaccines, and their effective use to tackle infectious disease. The successful candidate will be accountable for the development and delivery of small and medium sized policy and advocacy projects, including in relation to CoVid19. To be successful in this role you'll be a highly motivated individual, with experience working on policy and advocacy projects (ideally in a global context), and will have: * Strong policy analysis skills and the ability to develop clear recommendations and advocacy plans * Ability to identify, build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with both external and internal stakeholders. * Good project management skills including maintaining documentation and handling competing priorities. * A passion for how research and policy can contribute to improving global health To find out more about the work the vaccines team are doing click here to find out more.
