Job Description

Liquidnet has been in the Fixed Income market since 2014 when it launched its Corporate Bond trading platform. This platform leverages Liquidnet's experience, scale and global reach within the institutional equity investment community to accelerate efficiencies within the corporate bond market. With a presence in both the United States and Europe, Liquidnet has now established relationships with more than 400 institutional clients with more than 1,000 active users participating on its trading platform. The platform initially allowed for peer-to-peer trading of US & European high yield and investment grade bonds in both Europe and the United States and added Emerging Market Credit and sovereign bonds in 2018. Liquidnet's ongoing mission is to make global markets more efficient. By combining Liquidnet's large scale network of institutional buy-side customers with technology aimed to enable the exchange of larger size liquidity and order management system connectivity, we have created one of the world's largest pools of natural liquidity. RESPONSIBILITIES * Marketing the Liquidnet institutional network to EMEA buy-side and sell-side institutions, including advice on the use of new functionality to maximize liquidity opportunities * Providing sales coverage to clients * Identifying and driving sales opportunities; creating and evolving relationships with prospects/clients * Collaborating with the team to develop and implement long-term sales strategies * Developing in-depth knowledge of workflows and distinct trading strategies within the various institutions and effectively communicating and demonstrating how we support Member and prospect trading needs * Partnering, daily, with clients to drive liquidity and order flow into the liquidity pool * Ownership of the entire sales cycle, including marketing, on-boarding and sales coverage SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Minimum of 4 years of proven success within sales in the institutional credit space * Experience in credit markets * Existing relationships with large buy and sell side institutions in Continental Europe * Language skills - French compulsory, German and/ or Spanish desirable * Involvement in rolling out Sales initiatives * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent presentation skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
