Job Description

Citizens Advice is changing. For 80 years we've provided free, independent and confidential advice to help people solve their problems. Last year we helped 2.7 million people in person - face to face in our local offices, by phone and through web chat. There were also 43 million visits to our website by people looking for answers to their problems. Most people come to us first online - so we're changing how we use digital to make sure we meet their needs. This means using data and research to understand their problems, and giving practical steps to help solve them. We make sure our advice is accessible, and helps people move forward. We're also creative - thinking about how different formats and tools can best meet user needs. The role You'll work on one of our project teams alongside other content designers and disciplines such as user researchers, designers and developers to build content and services that solve people's problems efficiently. We currently have teams working on Brexit, coronavirus and one on general content updates. You should be confident writing for a range of audiences and familiar using analytics and user research to inform content development. You'll be a team player and committed to making sure that Citizens Advice's digital content is the best it can be. Most importantly, you'll be comfortable making strategic decisions to drive a project forward, and adept at communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
