Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Nurse who wishes to play a lead role in the ongoing development of the Unscheduled Care Group within the Trust. You must have current or recent experience in a Senior Nurse operational role at Band 7 or above. With proven leadership skills, you will have overall day to day responsibility for the nursing teams in a range of wards and departments and be able to effectively manage complex operational and professional issues to ensure high standards of clinical care. The post is currently based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital but will require cross site working within both hospital settings. The Care Group is a challenging operational area with many conflicting priorities and requires staff with focus, drive, enthusiasm and commitment. You will work with the Senior Management team to influence, motivate, support and drive through change and service improvement to meet the Care Group and corporate objectives.
