Finance TM1 Analyst

Job Description
Job Purpose: The Finance TM1 Analyst will join the Finance Change Team and lead the administration, maintenance and further development of our TM1 system. The role will support both the Finance team and the wider business with development of TM1 based solutions, models and reports. Key Areas of Responsibility: * Developing, validating, documenting and communicating TM1 solutions. * Satisfy business needs by implementing TM1 solutions using TM1 rules, TI processes and efficient design in the TM1 environment. * Provide first line support for TM1 end users. * Assist in supporting the TM1 models throughout the budget and planning cycles where needed. * Train and monitor peers as well as end user on creating reporting and analytic solutions. Qualifications: * Suitable degree or career experience. Experience: * Demonstrable experience in end-to-end project implementation of a TM1 build. * Enthusiastic about reporting, analysis, data warehousing, business intelligence and reporting solution technologies. * Finance background would be preferable - comfortable discussing ideas with finance professionals at all levels of management and end-users. * Close working across multiples team and departments to develop appropriate solutions. Knowledge and Skills: * Strong capabilities in TM1 competencies including: rules/feeders, TI processes, subset automation, dimension and cube structures, Perspective reports and Architect. * Strong Excel skills including VBA and macros, MS SQL Server and SQL, MDX. * Finance department and accounting knowledge. * Excellent analytical, systems and modelling skills. * Highly organised and detail oriented. * Great communicator who is patient, flexible and tenacious, and who can translate end user business requirements into workable TM1 solutions. * Ability to switch between and manage multiple projects. * Understanding of database schemas and build/performance tuning of TM1 and/or BI solutions.
