Job Description
Manage a group of interrelated/interdependent projects which are striving for similar outcome or outcome areas. Plan, coordinate, monitor and implement very complex projects to meet organizational goals. Together with project managers, ensure that all projects within their program are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time/scheduling, material, outcome, cost/budget. requirements, appropriate risk assessment and that the project releases are well managed. Ensure that projects within area are properly resources, interdependencies between projects are accurately taken into consideration/foreseen and that project/program information is accurate and up-to-date. Perform prioritization within the portfolio as needed. Frequently report to the Program Management Office (PMO) or equivalent to ensure that there is close collaboration, good practices are captured, information is tracked and knowledge is shared. Often a program manager is coordinating and implementing various technical solutions. Identify technical and functional specifications needed for solutions according to requirements. Ensure regular communication with key stakeholder groups. Ensure that the business benefits of the program can be realized. KONE Way Follow KW methodology and ensure projects adhere to this methodology. Ensure that project/program has an appropriate steering and that the program manager is aware of and attending project steering. Be the point of contact for Change Managers /Program Management Office /Global Development /Process Owners /Project Managers for escalating a project related issue.
