confirmed when you book an interview slot Over recent years NHS Tayside has committed to increased investment in the Area Psychological Therapies Service. The Service now has a complement of around 180 clinical and applied staff with an additional 20 trainees. Opportunity exists to combine a number of specialist posts to reflect career interests of suitable applicants. The Department provides a friendly, supportive and stimulating environment in which to work. Opportunities exist for involvement in teaching and research, taking advantage of close links with Universities of Dundee and Stirling. Members of the Department also contribute to the supervision and training of trainees on the Edinburgh/East and South of Scotland Clinical Teaching Course, the Universities of Stirling. The posts offers an opportunity to work with older people with mental health problems and cognitive disabilities. You will join a vibrant and well - established specialty at a time of significant expansion and development for the service. The post involves working with a wide range of different psychological problems and conditions at different levels of severity, chronicity and co - morbidity. This post is part of the Older People Mental Health Service in Angus which aims to provide integrated and comprehensive services for older people with mental health needs and their families. The post holder will provide specialist input to the community and inpatient units. The post holder will also offer consultation and training on patients' psychological care to multi - disciplinary colleagues. Appointees will have successfully completed the MSc in Psychological Therapy or equivalent and be able to make a valuable contribution to the healthcare of adults in primary care settings. Appointees will have regular access to clinical supervision and work under the guidance of experienced clinical psychologists. You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
