Job Description
I'm recruiting for an Application Support Analyst to join a company who are in the process of creating a brand new Application Support team in the heart of Bristol. They are an established startup who produce a software product and are going through a phase of expansion and are in a great position financially. Customer happiness is of the upmost priority to them and they are looking for someone who will go above and beyond to provide prompt resolutions to incoming support requests. You will be the first person a customer will have contact with when reporting an issue, asking for assistance, and/or requesting a product enhancement. They need someone who is great at assessing their needs, engaging the proper resources who has clear communication skills. Responsibilities will involve * Triage incoming support requests from all channels: validating and prioritising incoming issues while maintaining timely communication with the customer. · * Coordinating support tasks with other team members when necessary, in order to provide timely support coverage. * Reviewing, revising, training, and enforcing their support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and SLAs. * Identify, reproduce, and thoroughly document all bugs. · * Coordinate with the wider team as necessary to assign engineering resources to support issues, monitoring progress, and ensuring a timely delivery for the customer. * Manage help desk software. * You may from time to time also get involved in supporting QA/Testing through the testing of bug fixes. The ideal person would have worked in a similar field before helping to provide support to software products/websites, or maybe even have had experience within QA/Testing. They would also consider graduates who have studied something Technology related who may be interested in moving into this sort of role Salary is from £20,000- £35,000 depending on experience.
