We're also a Sunday Times top 100 Best Company to Work for, investing care, time and resources in our people The role You will drive supply chain improvement both internally and externally and be responsible for ensuring fully compliant procurement practices across statutory, regulatory and internal business requirements. You'll build valuable relationships to ensure that procurement makes a substantial contribution to the strategic objectives of the business and implement category strategies providing the business users with an 'easy to use, and easy to comply' supply chain construct that delivers both quality and value add on an enduring basis. Participation in the continuous development of the procurement processes, tools and systems to deliver the needs of the business and implement step-change improvements will be a given. You'll seek to understand fully your customers' needs, identifying and working to remove pain points, and always doing what you say you will. Key requirements You will have experience of developing and implementing best in class procurement across a range of direct and in direct categories and be able to demonstrate significant influence and delivery of supply chain improvement across a number of sectors. You will be a qualified procurement specialist holding MCIPS or equivalent, comfortable working under pressure and have broad knowledge and experience achieved within both the private and public sector. Experience operating in a customer facing role within a complex supply chain construct and a professional qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
