Brief overview of the role: The Client Consultant plays a critical and unique role at Euromonitor International. Their chief objective is to assist in the prioritization and execution of strategies set by globally focused executives located in Western Europe. Working from a named list of existing clients within the Global Fortune 500, Client Consultants are expected to expand and create new relationships across the organization leveraging our entire suite of services. This often involves engaging multiple business units and various functions including strategy, consumer insights, marketing, innovation, finance, etc. Solutions include data and trend analysis from existing syndicated databases as well as ad hoc capabilities to address specific priorities. The Client Consultant primarily wears three hats: * An entrepreneur. As a self-driven and intellectually curious executive, they enjoy hearing challenges from senior executives, questioning to understand the big picture, and then building a solution that involves multiple products and capabilities. Resourcefulness, flexibility and innovation are key characteristics of interest. Being an entrepreneur also requires the ability to allocate internal resources, communicating effectively with internal and regional teams. * A global strategist . Ability to understand and effectively converse about global and broad initiatives with the ability to designate the best short and long term partnership opportunities. Creating proactive plans to become a key influencer within client organizations. * An experienced and self- driven sales professional. It is important to not only achieve, but take personal accountability to exceed sales targets, looking to establish new ways of entrenching Euromonitor's services within existing relationships. The ability to close deals by building consensus internally and externally while continuing to drive urgency via tangible next steps is vital. The Client Consultant role is seen as an exciting, challenging, and creative opportunity where you work closely with senior executives to identify strategic priorities, deconstruct internal processes, and assist in building unique solutions for an elite set of organizations. The relationships you uncover and maintain can yield countless engagements which are further encouraged by a base salary and uncapped commissions. Our team philosophy is to become our clients' strategic advisors, expanding clients' understanding of international markets and build mutually beneficial relationships within our existing client base. Key responsibilities: Product Knowledge * Understand and succinctly explain all of Euromonitor's databases as well as consulting capabilities * Able to apply and design unique solutions using all available resources to address client needs Client Organization Understanding * Building relationships, creating a deeper network inside client organizations with consistent and proactive dialogue with multiple decision makers. * Able to map, network, and penetrate a client's organizational structure as well as understand key business processes like strategic planning, innovation funnels, and new market entry strategies. * Frequently challenge clients to constructively broaden their perspective. Sales Process * Responsible for an annual upsell target as well as assisting to secure contract renewals. * Uses a refined consultative approach to identify points of engagement. Going beyond providing data to applying our industry insights for problem solving. Seeking areas to assist with urgent projects but also building consistent, structured and predictable points of engagement. * Always hunting for new areas our capabilities can be applied * Expanding our contacts beyond existing sources, developing a tailored value proposition for various areas within an organization * Presenting a benefit-led approach to engagement and basis for continued relationship building * A
