ROLE: Sales Executive CONTRACT: Permanent THE COMPANY Semantic Evolution is a fast-growing technology company with offices in London and New York, dealing with top tier financial services clients across the globe. Our product deploys the use of artificial intelligence techniques to capture data from unstructured documents such as pdf's, spreadsheets and emails. Our parsing technology provides immense efficiencies to large-scale tasks which would normally require the time-consuming manual extraction of data. With data being the most prized commodity of most financial institutions today, Semantic Evolution leverages the might of AI to empower our customers' ability to access more robust datasets in the unstructured data space. We are looking for bright, personable candidates who have a genuine interest in problem solving to join our growing team. Primary duties are outlined below, and the successful candidate will be eligible for commission and equity options upon proven success. Our team has grown to 30 professionals with backgrounds across Finance, Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We see our diversity as a key strength across all roles, already with the team hailing from over a dozen countries, and speaking 20 languages. THE ROLE Responsibilities: * Learning the Semantic Extract (in house software) platform to automate data extraction from financial documents. * Create, grow, and maintain pipeline of prospective software customers. * Travel time 15-25% Europe, with one trip to New York per annum. * Liaising with clients and relaying client requirements to dev/support teams. * Managing Pilots, POCs, and Onboarding with SE's customer service team. Skills / Education: * Undergraduate Degree; a focus within scientific, quantitative or financial discipline is beneficial, but not required. * Proven track record of client service/sales within software and financial services. * Process driven, well-organized thinker. * Enthusiastic self-starter with ability to grow with a small firm impacting top tier clients. * History of having worked with financial documents such as Prospectuses, Notices/Corporate Actions, or Statements. * Team player.
