Department Profile Technology & Operations Risk (TOR) manages operational and technology related risks on behalf of the Firm. The group's key principles are to provide proactive, comprehensive and consistent risk management, to enable the execution of the Firms strategy. Technology & Operations Risk's mission is to deliver first-line defences to manage risks to Firm technology, information and cyber threats through risk identification, control management and assurance. This allows the business to operate and grow in a secure and legally-compliant manner. Primary Responsibilities - Help define, support and maintain the Technology risk management standard and procedures. Monitor compliance with the Standard and support remediation of any areas of non-compliance. Understand, impact-assess and communicate relevant firmwide tooling and process changes - Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to understand business needs and translate these into fit for purpose business requirements for tooling and process improvements - Production of senior management reporting and risk commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis to satisfy regulatory requirements. Perform investigation of highlighted risks to identify and facilitate resolution of potential issues. - Support the execution of risk and control assessments to highlight potential risks and issues to Technology Senior Management. - Support the Technology Division in compliance with key regulatory requirements (e.g. model risk management) - Assist with the management of operational risk incidents for Technology
