Pharo trades foreign exchange, sovereign and corporate credit, local market interest rates, commodities, and their derivatives. We are passionate about what we do and are committed to attracting the best and brightest talent. Primary job function: We are looking for a credit research analyst to join our global research team. The analyst will be responsible for Pharo's corporate credit research, and be based in our London office. You will conduct bottom-up credit research on large bond issuers in the entire universe of emerging market corporates and banks (including quasi-sovereigns), as well as help to shape the firm's top down credit view by working closely with colleagues. You will also recommend trade ideas to portfolio managers and help to monitor our corporate credit book. You will actively participate and contribute to our twice weekly investment meetings. Required qualities and skills: Two to five years of corporate credit work experience at a top-tier buy-side firm (fixed income) Excellent analytical and numerical skills to assimilate complex information rapidly Superior capacity to grasp and learn new topics and concepts efficiently Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong work ethics Solid common sense Outstanding communication skills and attention to details Advanced Microsoft Office and Bloomberg skills Desired skills: Knowledge and understanding of Emerging markets CFA or CPA Education : University Graduate or Master equivalent Work status and location: Full time in London Apply for this Job
