Job description * Job Title: Credit Risk Officer * Report to: Credit Manager * Job Summary: Reduce credit risk for the operations of our business, by overlooking the risk profile of the corporate counterparties. At BB Energy we are constantly evolving in order to meet new challenges, while developing our personnel to ensure a competitive edge. Our global trading offices are staffed by experienced traders who count Gas, Crude Oil, Light and Middle Distillates, as well as Bitumen, as their specialties. The traders are supported by skilled shipping and financial operations personnel, headquartered in Athens. Main responsibilities * Review strategic credit positions * Assess changes in exposures * Assess counterparty ratings * Review if there are any pending credits to be cleared * Review if there are any credit limit excesses * Assess if all credit exposures are covered and mapped * Report all significant risks * Ensure credit risk reports reach all relevant parties * Discuss significant credit risks with line managers * Conduct stress and scenario testing and analysis of portfolio at global levels * Ensure all transactions have full and proper documentation * Ensure credit protection is fully understood and utilize Requirements Desired skills & experience Bachelors or higher degree in Business 5+ years accounting/financial reporting experience Experience in the oil/energy industry preferred Highly detail oriented and organized in work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management Excellent manner of English language
