Performance Analyst, Houghton Le Spring, Competitive Salary & Benefits. Join us as a Performance Analyst and be a core member of our EDF Renewables (EDF-R) Performance team. You'll enjoy having a particular focus on asset's performance and will be expected to perform performance related analysis across the business, working with the whole Operations team to ensure the analysis is understood by the business and the resulting actions taken will improve the portfolio's overall availability and performance levels. The Performance Team works to deliver the reporting needs of the Operations team and provide the business with the performance analysis necessary to ensure the assets are being operated to their maximum levels over their lifetime. Our ambition is to be a distinctive and recognised leader in the UK and Ireland, developing our assets under operation to c.5GW by 2030. Day to day the successful candidate will: * Be responsible for delivering and maintaining the project management of new technologies and new systems. Co-ordinating with Development and the new technology teams to ensure the Operations team is ready and able to perform its required additional responsibilities. * Be responsible for delivering and maintaining the strategy and implementation of the systems and tools necessary for the Performance team to carry out its operational and performance analysis and reporting activities. Responsible for overall design, build and maintenance of the tools required for the Operations team, linking numerous SCADA and PI data sources with Excel/MS Access/Tableau/R models, and bespoke software products as necessary. * Complete daily monitoring of the portfolio, supporting the wider Asset Management team with communication updates and reports as necessary. * Ensure the quality of the data used by the Asset Performance team is clean and accurate, validating and correcting data problems with meters, systems and reports. * Be responsible for the production of regular turbine level Power Curve analysis that ensures that WTGs are performing to at least the manufacturer's Warranted Power Curve levels. * Perform the performance analysis on the Portfolio. Running analysis, running regular performance analysis meetings and liaising with the Asset Operations Team, Maintenance, Engineering and Commercial teams with EDFR and also with OEMs to progress upgrades, fixes and optimising actions across the portfolio. Focusing on delivering the systems, tools, models and industry leading techniques and technologies to ensure the Performance team and the wider Operations team have the necessary skills, tools, knowledge and platforms to deliver this objective.
