Location Wakefield Salary 23,235 - 25,380 pro rata Role Profile Attachment Information Auditor Role Profile.pdf - 216KB Job Advert THE FOLLOWING VACANCY HAS BEEN ADVERTISED EXTERNALLY Information Auditor Digital Policing-Information Management Wakefield Permanent One part time post 18.5 hours over 2.5 days, (flexible) West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit an Information Auditor to support the Force by providing a risk based information quality audit service to ensure compliance with legislation, including the Data Protection Act, best practice and guidance including APP Information Management. You will interrogate relevant IT systems and other Force information in any format to conduct Data Protection audits as required by APP Information Management to ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation, transaction validation and lawful/appropriate usage audits as agreed with national and local asset owners, including PNC, PND, CAID, DVS, Niche and Corvus, and specific data quality audits to support Information Asset owners on data quality, within prescribed timescales. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good ability to use and understand IT systems, particularly database, and the willingness to undertake, and to successfully complete, IT courses required for the role. The candidate must have relevant experience of working within an audit environment and/or experience of working with complex data and a thorough understanding of data analysis, interpretation and representation, with good communication and report writing skills.
