Care UK are looking to appoint a skilled and motived, substantive, full time Pharmacy Assistant for HMP Wakefield. HMP Wakefield is a Category 'A' prison. About the Job As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for general dispensary duties and stock management. The post holder will be required to support and provide a timely and efficient pharmaceutical service to the prison wings. The Pharmacy Assistant will be an integral member of the Pharmacy Team, who forms part of the wider cluster of Healthcare Services. You can expect to be involved in everything from dispensing of prescriptions, stock management, patient counselling etc. The Job Requirements We are on the lookout for Pharmacy Assistants who have post qualifying experience working within a pharmacy environment. You'll hold an NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 2 and must have a willingness to undertake CPD . A full range of primary care and mental health services are provided by Care UK which provides this unique opportunity.
