You will be expected to play an active and often leading role in creating training programs/events/experiences for all our core team (380 people and growing) and cloud workers (currently in excess of 5,000 people) until you build out a strong L&D team. This role is also expected to play a 'partnering role' with senior business leaders to discover both the present development needs of their people, but also to help determine what needs will be required in the future so that we are able to effectively train people in time for new technologies, projects, and business needs. Responsibilities To work closely with both the VP Talent & Culture and the CFA Project Manager to: * Create and execute the L&D strategies and programs across CFA. * Develop and build the systems and tools for effectively evaluating/discovering individual and organisational development needs. * To help establish the effective outworking of the CFA build engine by helping to build simple, scalable discovery templates, build (standardised module outlines / session maps) techniques and measurement tools. * To lead and consult on the design and implementation of various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training). * Manage the design and delivery of e-learning courses, workshops, and other training. * Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities. * To facilitate and run training sessions on behalf of CFA. * To build an effective L&D partnership with senior business leaders to help ascertain needs, and propose solutions and ideas to challenges which lie out in the future. * Taking the lead in researching the very best external providers of content and technology and to bring recommendations to the CFA team. Requirements To be a contender, you'll need to have: * Based in UK. * Worked in a number of L&D roles over the last 8-10 years. * Knowledge of current best practice in effective learning and development tools, practices, and infrastructure. * Experience of implementing technology-based delivery solutions, with online learning tools and websites. * You will have qualifications and solid experience in instructional design. * Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills. * Ability to coach and influence at all levels effectively and to manage upwards. * Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver to a range of audiences. * Team player - ready to pitch in and support not just the L&D team but the wider Talent team. If you really want to stand out, you'll need to show that you have: * Experience of working internationally in different cultures delivering impactful learning programs. * Expertise in coaching and in-depth knowledge of psychometric tools with associated qualifications and experience. * Experience of leading a small L&D team to deliver both bespoke L&D solutions specific to existing business needs, along with the ability to draw on the very best curated solutions. * You will have had experience working on a fast growing company which is scaling quickly. * Familiar with design thinking and/or user/human-centred design.
