We are delighted to have been granted planning approval to convert the existing building into our first healthcare facility in London, expanding the international delivery of our specialised medical care. As we look forwards to the rest of the year, here at Cleveland Clinic London we're looking for Nurse Educator to join our team within the next few months. The Nurse Educator is a highly visible role model to all the nurses within the team; responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating unit-based orientation and educational activities for nursing and/or allied health personnel at Cleveland Clinic London. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing ongoing competencies and training using evidence-based methodologies that embrace Patient-Centered Care, the nursing professional practice model, and shared decision making. Job Responsibilities: • Designs, directs, implements and evaluates educational offerings based on knowledge, skills and learning levels of nursing staff and allied health professionals. • Develops and utilizes appropriate evaluation systems to determine the effectiveness of educational activities. • Consults with individuals within the Nursing Institute and Ambulatory Nursing, CCL and the community regarding professional nursing practice and roles. • Assists in the development of department specific orientation and competencies. Assists departments in orientation of staff. • Monitors and evaluates nurse performance during orientation in conjunction with nurse preceptor • Develops and maintains a cataloging system for tracking and retrieval of all available teaching-learning resources. • In conjunction with the senior team develop and monitor clinical and non-clinical performance standards being responsive to changing • Provides consultation of a clinical and educational nature to department staff What we can offer you: We're committed to supporting the health and well-being of all Caregivers with a comprehensive umbrella of services.
