Clinical Facilitator - Practice Experience Programme Team An exciting opportunity has become available within the Patient Experience Programme Team (PEPT) for two new Clinical Facilitators. This Band 6 role(s) will be instrumental in supporting in the development and growth of key work-based programmes across the trust. The post holder(s) will be responsible for providing clinical and education support to staff currently undertaking the rotational nurse; apprentice/trainee nursing associate and preceptorship programmes. The post holder(s) will be responsible for support staff, act as the link for the HEI and take responsibility for ensuring that appropriate quality placements are provided by the organisation for the work-based learners alongside the Practice Experience Facilitators. Work across NELFT with colleagues from other clinical areas ensuring the service develops to provide experiences for work based learners. Review with colleagues, the suitability of existing placements and learning opportunities. Applicants will also be expected to work alongside staff in practice to support the development of skills and competencies in the workplace. Applicants will need to be a Registered Nurse, with a qualification as a mentor / practice assessor and have significant knowledge of the National Nursing Associate programme, Rotation programmes, Preceptorship programmes, clinical education and assessment in practice including the new NMC Standards. Experience of working in both physical health and mental health settings would also be an advantage. These posts are full-time : 37.5hrs per week. Assessment/Interview info At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. High Cost Area Supplement - London This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of 3,784 to a maximum of 4,822).
