Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital, 4 star NHS Foundation Trust in London, has a vacancy for an experienced Clinical Vascular Scientists to become part of our highly motivated team, working in the Ultrasonic Angiology Department. Our Service is delivered from dedicated, scanning rooms at both Guy's and St Thomas sites, each equipped with duplex and TCD systems and linked across sites by a dedicated PACS system and supported by an excellent administration team. We provide a comprehensive vascular ultrasound service for adults and children. We fully support continuing professional development and fund staff to attend National meetings including; the Vascular Society of Great Britain & Ireland, Society for Vascular Technology and the British Medical Ultrasound Society. There are opportunities for participating in clinical research, teaching, training and demonstrating on undergraduate courses. This role will attract a Recruitment and Retention Premia of 4,000 which will be added to the above salary. Candidates should have experience of vascular ultrasound and hold either an NHS Scientific Training Programme, Post-graduate certificate in Vascular Ultrasound or similar qualification. Your role will include a varied workload of vascular patients. One-stop and outreach clinic roles will give you the opportunity to work independently, managing your workload and interacting directly with Clinicians. Training will be given to increase your scanning portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in furthering their career in Vascular Ultrasound.
