Job Description
A new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Analyst to come and join Ocado at our newest Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC6) based in Bristol, Avonmouth. This is an integral role within the heart of Ocado where you will be assisting the Engineering team with the organisation of the Stores and assisting with any improvements as necessary. We are looking for someone who has good interpersonal skills, is highly organised and has experience in working within a stores/stockroom environment. Although an Engineering qualification is not essential, an interest or background in this field would be a distinct advantage. Key Responsibilities: * To provide spare parts to the Engineering maintenance teams in a timely manner * Maintain the management of the stores to ensure it is effective, safe and tidy at all times * To provide sufficient spare parts to support both scheduled maintenance and repair requirements and ensure business resiliency * To monitor stock levels and place replenishment orders * Maintain an accurate and up to date Stores stock control and purchase order system * To analyse data and provide administrative support for the Engineering Team as required * Building relationships with suppliers to ensure best value and service levels * Identifying alternate suppliers, seeking best value and service for the engineering stores * Supporting maintenance admin in the reporting of KPI's and reviewing them to identify trends * Take corrective actions as required to adjust levels and make recommendations to management to address adverse trends * Assist the Engineering Team with analytical, clerical and administrative duties You may also be asked to perform tasks as required by management deemed as a reasonable request. To be considered for this role you will need: * Experience of working within a stores environment * Good interpersonal skills with an ability to meet demanding targets in a pressurised stores environment * Ability to communicate clearly both internally and with Suppliers * Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) * Experience of using analytical skills * Proficient in administrative and clerical duties Working Hours: You would be required to work 40 hours per week working predominantly Monday to Thursday and Tuesday to Friday on a rotation - however flexibility around these days/hours may be required.
