Global Commercial Alliance Project Director Viiv Healthcare, Brentford Background ViiV Healthcare is an independent, global specialist HIV company that is committed to delivering innovative new options for the care and treatment of people living with HIV/AIDS. As the timing for market launch of a new long acting injectable approaches, an increased level of relationship management and project management is required across the collaboration from a global, regional and LOC commercial perspective as well as from a manufacturing and supply chain perspective to ensure successful commercialization. Job Purpose Numerous activities are currently underway to support the anticipated market launch. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the collaboration across ViiV and an alliance businessto support the commercial launch and ongoing commercialization activities post-launch. This individual will be accountable to ensure the relationship with the alliance is professional, collaborative and aligned to the contractual agreements; ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner and appropriate governance and communication is maintained. The scope of these responsibilities will include management of commercially related committees and corresponding activities of these committees including the Joint Commercialization Committee (JCC), the Joint Access Territory Committee (JATC), the Joint Market Access JCC Sub-Committee and any Regional or Market specific committees established to support co-detailing activities. The role will also help manage the Joint Manufacturing and Supply Committee (JMSC) in support of the launch and commercialization of CARLA. Joint Committee activities associated with product development, clinical and regulatory will be supported through a separate role. Responsibilities * Create and maintain integrated project timelines that contain all activities, interdependencies and resources required to accomplish key milestones across the collaboration * Identify and manage activities and processes for the development of key project deliverables and documents for the collaboration * Provide regular updates on progress against project objectives, milestones, timelines and metrics * Establish, communicate and monitor project risks and proactively identify issues that will impact the success of projects across the collaboration * Organize team members to work together to recommend solutions to issues as they arise * Provide written agendas and detailed meeting summaries in a timely fashion to communicate project status to broader team * Partner with Commercial, Business Development & Alliance Management, Legal, Manufacturing and Supply Chain and Project Team to ensure project plans, value drivers for partnership and governance are aligned appropriately with contract obligations * Engage with local market teams to establish and facilitate clear collaboration/co-detailing processes, ways of working, and information sharing approach, in compliance with the agreement and global governance framework in markets wherethe allianceelects to co-detail * Establish common understanding of the operational framework, drive governance bodies to ensure alliance progress and issue resolution per contractual mandate * Lead efforts to establish mutual understanding, respect, trust and good communication with alliance partner * Ensure cross functional monitoring, coordination and mutual compliance with contractual obligations across collaboration * Develop partner insights to understand partner organization, decision making, interests and facilitate mutual understanding of the respective organizations * Proactively engage partners to manage issues, unexpected events, resolve conflicts at the lowest level and drive process, decision making on renegotiations and alliance conclusion as appropriate * Develop alliance success metrics and reporting tools to track and report health of the alliance, progress against key partnership objectives or key acquisition value drivers. Skills & Experience * Track record of having managed a successful alliance portfolio across development, manufacturing & commercialisation * Thorough understanding of contracts, partnerships, experience in negotiations * Strong general management and leadership qualities and an ability to navigate organizations including leading governance & steering committees * Very strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills * Ability to manage difficult conversations and interactions as they arise including alliance integration, contract extensions and conflicts of interest * Product launch experience preferred Formal project management education/certification preferred MBA or equivalent qualification preferred The close date for this position is Thursday 2nd July 2020 COB.
